The LSO is a community orchestra of Longmont, Colorado, in its 30th season. The LSO's conductor and artistic director is Dr. Robert Olson and he is assisted by associate conductor Brian St. John.

The Longmont Symphony performs a free Concert-In-The-Park on July 4th every year. The LSO also sponsors Longmont's Oktoberfest weekend in late September every year. Oktoberfest features a street fair of local artists, as well as German food, music, and entertainment.
